Details

In this 4-hour workshop, we will explore the basics of BURLESQUE - the art of the tease. By evening's end, you'll have learned walk, pose, and expose (slowwwwwwwwly). You'll even learn to twirl your tassels (optional), and walk away with a pair of sparkly, twirling nip covers of your very own to dazzle whoever is waiting for you at home (or just yourself if you fancy). A celebratory glass of bubbles and many MANY smiles will complete the evening.

Burlesque is about CELEBRATING your body and your femininity. ALL SHAPES and SIZES ARE WELCOME and encouraged to join and no one need feel pressured to get your kit off if you don't want to. But if you're up for it, we WILL also be providing a little welcome drink to... ease us all into the evening!

No men (or male-identifying persons) allowed for this one, sadly... This is a place to let femininity (and clothing) FLY so, for the safety and comfort of everyone, it's just ladies, please.

 You'll need to bring:

  • Stockings (with or without garters)
  • long black silk or satin gloves (Here is a lik to some if you don't have any.)
  • a button up or zip-closure shirt or blouse
  • some kind of bottom that is easy to get out of
  • your favourite (full-bottomed) two-piece swimsuit (or matching bra and panties set, if you prefer).

Please note: Burlesque is a form of strip tease, so we encourage everyone to let their hair down, have fun, and get their kit off if they fancy it - or not, if they don't. The decision is entirely yours. That said, the last activity of the workshop WILL BE a tassel twirling tutorial (yes, THAT kind). This is also optional (but OH SO MUCH FUN), and obviously requires a wee bit more nakedness. Changing rooms are provided, and it is firmly a women-only event, so hopefully everyone will feel comfortable letting the girls (and the tassels) fly free, but if that's not your bag, feel free to book that Uber home early. ;-)
