Spinach and egg bagel

Simple, delicious, protein-and carb-rich.

  • 1 whole meal bagel

  • 1 organic egg

  • handful of spinach (large if wilting, small if using raw)

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • salt, ground black pepper

  • optional hot sauce (Cholula is my favourite)

MAKE IT


Toast your bagel to desired level

scramble OR fry egg (runny yolk is best if frying)

If you prefer your spinach wilted - gently wilt over steam

If you prfere it raw (like me) just wash gently.


Add spinach to bottom of bagel

Top with scrambled or fried egg

Season to taste

Add a dash or two fo hot sauce if you like!
